Steps for Starting a nonprofit
- Download IRS publication 557ت www.irs.gov/publications/p557/index.html
- Articles of Incorporation (Sectary of State).
- EIN number Form SS4تت www.irs.gov
- Select and Develop a Board of Directors (training is essential)
- Develop Bylaws
- Start receiving funds and serving the public.
- File for 501 (c)(3) تdownload form 1023 http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f1023.pdf
- You have 15 months to file from the filing of articles of incorporation. IRS is currently giving a 12 month extension if needed.
- Determine if you need assistance or should you hire a CPA or consultant.
